looking for websites or pictures of classy showers. Floral arrangements and decorations. Need suggestions for party favors, nothing too cheap or disposable. Creative packaging and visual elements are something I enjoy. I'm trying to create a classy spin on traditional baby showers. Thanks for any suggestions.
Need help planning a classy baby shower brunch for boy. Does anyone know some good websites or have ideas?
If it is nice outside then take the party to the lawn. Rent some round tables and chairs. Tablecloths and even glass dinner plates. You can make it somewhat like an outdoor tea party theme (except boyish). There should be a rental store in your area that would rent you everything. Look at Bridal magazines to get an idea of some classy decor. Go to a wholesale flower shop and buy flowers there (or if there is a Sam's club you can get 2 dozen roses for $14.88). Try light tones like white roses in silver tin buckets (Wal Mart floral/craft section) and tie a baby blue %26amp; white polka dot ribbon glued around the edge of the centerpieces in a bow. You can also use blue tulling or satin to drape accross other tables to bring in more color. Another cute idea would be to dress tables up with baby items (like white baby shoes). This would be very classy and nice. Shop around, you can create an expensive look for less. You can serve food like deli sandwhiches (make them yourself or order from McCalisters), and make a classy cake to tie it all in. Hope this gave you a few ideas!

a cake made out of panpers ,by rolling the diapers
great gift for the pregger lady
Reply:You could give your guests a packet of wildflower seeds along with tis poem:
Please plants these seeds
And watch them bloom,
Just like Baby(last name)
Who will be here soon!
Or another cute idea is this
Bring a book
As (mother-to-be's name) due date is commin
We're inviting friends and family dear.
To choose a favorite story or fairy tale
That you would like Baby-------- to hear.
Instead of a card, please let ( mother-to-be name) look,
At your special choice of a book,
and then to Baby------ she will read
With all the love a newborn will need.
As for favors one of my favorites is giving a candle with this poem attached:
Here's a candle for you to light,
Once the stork has made its flight.
With a flicker of the flame, Say a prayer in the baby's name.
