Should I be upset if I receive an identical floral arrangement for V-day as for another recent occasion?

I have been dating this man for about about 4 months.

Should I be upset if I receive an identical floral arrangement for V-day as for another recent occasion?
I can understand how you would be - we ladies put tons of thought into things like that. However, the fact that your man remembered V-Day and spent the money to buy you flowers is a lot of thought for a guy. Be glad that you got them - last year my boyfriend had my dad pick up a rose for me, lol!
Reply:I'd just be happy to get flowers.....many men don't even bother....are they carnations? or fake? then maybe I'd be upset
Reply:Nope! It was nice of him to send you flowers and he probably didn't remember that he had sent the same arrangement to you before. Or, maybe he thought you really, really liked that arrangement (like maybe you made a big deal about it the first time you received it), so he sent them to you again.
Reply:Gee, no. It was nice of him to think of you, and that's the thought you should take to heart.





Often I will phone a florist service for a delivery, and I leave the piece up to the discretion of the clerk. I pick a price range, some types of flowers, a card and they take care of it, since I can't see what they've got.





If it's an identical piece, you might politely remark that these must be his favourite flowers, since it's an identical piece. For all you know, he may think he's sending you your FAVOURITE flowers.





As some would say, you are looking a gift horse in the mouth. Be thankful that you found a guy who is this thoughtful in the first place, instead of making a sow's ear out of a silk purse. And while we're at it, what have YOU bought for HIM?? Don't forget that relationships are two-way streets!
Reply:No. You should be happy that he thought enough of you to send anything at all.....its the thought that counts.
Reply:No... first, it's very nice that you received the flowers in the first place... and two, you never know... did you make a big fuss about them... maybe he thought you liked them a lot and wanted to get them for you again... Anyway, no matter the reason... it's an extremely nice jester... just be happy and feel lucky :)
