Suggestions for a fall themed wedding?

I'm having a fall themed wedding in New England in October...does anyone have suggestions for elegant floral arrangements, center pieces, or the cake? The colors are burgandy and ivory...

You should go on www.theknot.com they have message boards and you can click on theme weddings or fall weddings. Then click on the other brides names and on their profiles they put pictures of all their ideas. Thats how I got so many cute ideas for my beach wedding.

how about incooperating these other colours as well as the two you already have:





~ if a blue burgundy - lavender (easy to find flowers), mushroom (elegant) and olive green


~ if a brown burgundy - orange (looks great for fall), light tobacco (just lighter orange) and green gold (similar to mustard).. this looks great for autumn/fall


~ if a pink burgundy - schiaparelli pink (bright pink.. could get lilies in with a hint of this in), nectarine (lovely in roses!) and a beige grey which i guess would be substitued for the ivory

Reply:You can check this cool website I found. They specialize in themed weddings and parties. They even offer themed personalized favor ribbons. If you do not find what you are looking for, try emailing them. A lot of times they will be able to custom design items for you. They did for mine!

Reply:Do a dark chocolate cake, with dark chocolate icing, very simplistic with a few silk fall leaves arranges on the top and other tiers. The burgandy colour will be picked up in the leaves.
