You can get floating candles anywhere. Less than $2 a piece. Try google search "Floating candles."

You just use water.

You can't use any kind of flowers. The petals have to be firm. Soft petals won't hold their original shape when they are submerged into the water. The one you see in the picture is called "Mokara Orchid." Either this one, or you can use Dendrobium Orchid (cheaper) or Cymbidium Orchid (expensive).

Don't use silk. They are too soft; besides, they are too buoyant.
Reply:i don't know if that is water or a special oil. i have seen both. you can buy floating candles almost anywhere. you could use whatever type flower you wanted, silk would last a long time.

Reply:I would recommend silk flowers because not all flowers do well submerged in water like that for long periods of time. All you need is the floating candles and the glass votive which are cheap. Any craft store would have them but i would try and find them online.
